Evangeslists like Robert Tilton Benny Hinn and some others seem to take advantage of people who are "down on their luck" by equating their salvation to the amount of money donated to their ministry. Personally, I think that this is dishonest and people who use this kind of trickery to get money for their ministry by doing "Faith Healings" on those who have donated the most, and promising salvation in exchange for large donations should lose their license to minister to people. As a minister, I would never submit to these kinds of tatics. What are your thoughts?

I wholeheartedly agree with you. Those that turn Christianity into a "business" are by no means doing the work of God but satisfying their own greed. Where it is not our place to judge them we certainly do not need to succumb to their twisted belief system and just follow our own hearts. I attended an non-demoninational theological college in my youth and although I do not attend services at present, I believe so deeply that God will be judging us for what is in our hearts and not whats in our wallets!!!

It's sad but many people are in the business of God for themselves. Where there is money there will be people willing to do anything they can to get it. It makes those who are in it for God have it so much harder. It also keeps people who need salvation away from the Word of God.

They do have an ethics committee. It's called the US Department of Justice, with branches in all 50 states.
