Was it a bloody nose? A runny nose? Maybe you should contact your doctor because I've never heard of that before.

I had a sinus infection a few months ago with a lot of pressure. At work my nose just started pouring watery snot. It filled up like 5 kleenxes and stoped. The nurse at work said that that was all the snot causing the pressure and it was just like flood gates opened. I had it for off and on all day and then the pressure was gone. If it keeps up, ask a doc.

Could be tears from the eyes, the tears drain into the nose through a small opening (punctum) in each eyelid near the corner of the eye. They then drain down the tube called the tear duct (the nasolacrimal duct) into the nose.
