If the person has been in a coma for a short time, maybe under a week or so, their chances of coming out of it can be pretty good.

After six months or so, very unlikely.

In between those times, maybe but not great.

I've actually been in a coma and finally woke up. I can't really give any detailed descriptions of how I felt, but I remember that I had a very long dream. A dream that portrayed all the significant events that happened in my life. And when I was reaching to the end of this dream, I woke up. I saw my parents and doctors, thrilled to see me survive this huge setback.
