Is this a solution to the illegal immigration issue in the U.S.?

The US should build prisons along the border. They are manned by guards and surely an illegal person would not climb into a prison around horny thugs. Also, it is no lost to the U.S. if the prisoners escape into the neighboring country.

Or instead of that (no offense, the prison thing is weird), we could just build a wall that is 20 feet high and goes underground 20 feet (so they don't burrow under it) that has high voltage and spikes that would kill all those who tried to cross it. It seems harsh until you think of the problems that come with the illegals.

You are able to live the life you live because Mexicans are exploited. If you were forced to work for 5.00 an hour and live in a house with 20 other adults you would moan and complain. I don't know very many Mexicans that live here that aren't grateful for the change.

The real reason there is no (and will likely not be a) solution to the "illegal immigration problem" is that, all in all, illegals are a net benefit to the country & the economy. Many of them even pay taxes! They do a lot of low-pay jobs that citizens won't do for the money, and so hold down prices.

And if we "solve" the problem, whose going to mow the senator's lawns & trim his hedges? LOL
