Yes there is and it should never be socially accepted. I can understand nowadays anything goes, but there should still be a level of respect for yourself and for those that you consider to be friends. Dating your friend's exes is just wrooooonnnnngggg.

There is a commonly known rule about not dating your friend's ex. But whether or not it's acceptable to date them depends on the social group you hang out with.

I dont listen to that rule. I dont care if my friends date my exes, its all in the past. Plus, were all great friends. I even hope they get married.

You shoud not really date exes of friends. Not really etiquette. If you do the you should seek the approval or warn your friends about going out with exes.

yes there is an unspoken rule its just a thing with girls thats just how it works yah with guys its different but do not ever do it it will ruin yoru friendship with that other person
