Before anyone else and illegal aliens why should they come before our own citizens.How come people say America should send Mexico billions of dollars every day ? How is the rest of the Mexico earning living where there are no jobs there?Employment must stand at about 80 million people.Can America afford to take care of 80 million more people ?

I don't think that it is right for Mexico to say that the Mexicans here are important for their economy. It only encourages the people there not to take responsibility. They need to plan their families responsibly as someone earlier said.
I am also sick of the Catholic Church constantly pressuring the U.S. government.

Saying Mexico should take care of its own. Its' not like Mexico doesn't need an infra structure, libraries, schools, hospitals, all create jobs, which Mexican laborers are doing in the USA. Mexico's ' stock market is second highest in the world, second only to Brazil. Even in pesos that's a lot of money in Mexico.

The U.S. is supporting some of the Mexican people that are here illegally. The think about Mexico is that there is no midddle class, you are either making it, or not making it. The Mexican gov't "plain and simple" do not care for their peoples needs, why do you think that the Mexican gov't made a "How to cross over to the U.S." handbook, showing them what to do , and how to do it and what to say when they get caught. Its the cartels running the show in Mexico, and the people in office are just puppets (and well paid) by the cartels.

It is not an obsession but for folks in US, because of the hordes streaming across the border to get the benefits of a US life, it is common sense to see that one of main reasons is the vast poverty from which they are escaping. You say that US is saying solution is to pump in billions of dollars. The truth is that solutions being offered is to help Mexico with many different forms of assistance other than simply pumping money there to improve the lot of their impoverished people. Help is needed to generate more jobs, it needs meaningful safety nets like a social security system for all, pensions, healthcare, old age care - all of the things they presently lack. Crime prevalence which drives some to flee needs to be dealt with also - that means accepting help from US and others in dealing with crime.

No, America can't afford to support Mexico. That's why I think that the Mexicans should do something. They have a democracy, they should vote for someone who will better their country. It's their own fault they have a third world country, now they need to do something about it instead of beg us for money.

I hate to blow the liberal bubble that Mexico is a third rate third world cesspool of corruption and unemployment.... punch up the CIA World Fact Book and do a comparison of U.S. and Mexico: personal wealth, education, income, and crime data, etc... Be prepared for some surprises... stuff you will NEVER see on the 5 o'clock news...

I think Mexicans should cut down on having children if they think
they need to come here to make it. No one should feel another
country has to take care of them. I've even heard the rich and
Caucasian looking Mexicans hate the brown/Aztec looking ones.
And I'm sick of American liberals sticking up for them !
