The Egg.
What layed the egg though??? Well Its an unevolved chicken. Over millions of years some bird creature, slowly evolved into what we call 'a chicken'.
Basically in evolution, there has to be some cutt-off point to where one creature becomes the newly evolved form. The former lays the egg, and the newly evolved form is inside. So the Egg comes first!
Of course though, the chicken has not stopped its evolution yet, it never ends. It will continue to evolve, just as humans will.
