i think girls love the text thing but us guys not so much.. texting gets old real fast. we would reather talk to you for ten min. then text you for 3 hours.. we can say the same things its just less time consuming.. as long as he still responds to your text dont sweat it..... when he stopes responding then worry....

Are you still going out even without the text messaging? If you are, then the decrease in texting doesn't sound like a problem. If you are not seeing each other as much, sounds like he's blowing hot and cold - interested initially and then losing interest slowly. It happens. If you want to spend more time with him, or want more text messaging from him, and you have told him these things, and he doesn't respond, or says he doesn't want it, well, there's your answer. Move on.
You have to communicate with him, though. Tell him what you want and see if he wants the same thing. Otherwise, forget it.

alright i don't know him enough, but I will say it could be a money thing. I found out the hard way that if texting is not free it can get expensive, i had a $100 bill because I went over my texting limit.
That being said, just freeze him out for awhile. Don't call don't text, don't see, him. Unless of course he is the one initiating.
And don't go all "but what if he doesn't call" if he doesn't call get a new BF.

Maybe he'd like to move up a step and instead of texting would like to talk on the phone. Perhaps that is his hint to you to call him. If you do call him and he seems irritated by you, then he's not that into you and it's best to move on.
