How would i try to make someone stop smoking. They smoke 30+ marlboro lights a day and have no interest in quitting. How can i change this?

The first step is to generate interest in quitting!! There are various educational tools on the 'net which dictate the negative points to smoking. Also do some math and figure out how much money is spent per year on cig's. Plan to use this money for something each year. You cannot force someone to be interested in quitting (unless you're in a position to create an ultimatum.. ie. married or in a couple) And tell the person you think smoking is disgusting. Keep at it until there is enough interest for quitting and then consider making a stop-smoking plan ONLY after that!

little lollipops. the small ones. have a lot of them on hand and encourage them to have 2 lollipops in place of one cig. my friend did this but she was only smoking 1.5 packs a day.

You won't be able to change that person's behavior. If they don't want to stop smoking - they won't. You can only encourage them and support their efforts if they try to stop smoking.

Every pack of cigarettes they buy, sneak them out and put explosive charges in them.
But first find out where they hide their stash and put active mousetraps by the cigarette packs.
You don't know pain until you have had your fingers smashed in a mousetrap.

you can't. They have to want to quit themselves. You're fighting a losing battle.
