roughly how much would i need to build in under a queenslander? house is already raised, ground is already leveled etc, so need slab, int/ext walls and everything else. looking at bedrooms, laundry, one bathroom and one ensuit bathroom. approx 70sqm

Classic Queenslander style homes were designed to cope with the heat in Queensland which is why they were built up off the ground so that air could flow in under the house and assist in keeping it cool. Should you go ahead with your plans to build in under you queenslander you will require far more electricity to run your air conditioner than ever before.......if you dont presently have an air conditioner once you build in underneath you will need one....
