What's the problem with the ordination of gay priests? Why are churches voting to turn their back on a gay priest? What business is it of the congregation if their priest is openly gay, rather than secretly gay, which many priests have obviously been for hundreds of years...

Fair point Dee - I couldn't actually care less, and don't listen to priests of any kind. But then I'm not the one voting to separate myself from priests fo a particular kind. Just curious about the thinking is all.

The tradition in Christianity is that sex is to allow married couples to make babies. Everything else is sinful.

The business of being a Christian is to do the best you can, not to criticise other people. However, it would not be very good PR to employ someone who openly breaks the rules in such a senior role.

Another point Dee might like to look at, Why does your church and it's members speak out against gays getting married? If you expect us not to worry about your gays, you should stop worrying about ours.
