i dont get to see him that often...i mean its too hard for me to let him go...he means the world to me but my parents dont like him and he live like an hour away...and there is this other guy who likes me and i like him back but i dont think i could ever love him like i do the guy im with now.....please help....i dont know if i should let him go or wait it out....

Well when is the earliest you can see him again? If it's really long then consider giving this new guy a chance. Oh, and your parents might just be uncomfortable with the idea of you dating, just a thought. You need to either show how responsible you are or let your guy do something to impress them if you want their approval.

let me explore the following question with you: when would you ever get to know the guy one hour away enough to marry him? (yeah, i know no one said anything about marriage. but it may be in your future.)
if you are willing to wait and see what the answer to that question is, then your guy one hour away may eventually be "closer to you" than you ever thought.
good relationships can be for a life time, whether it be a friend or a spouse.
is there really a rush to dump the "one hour" guy? he can be a friend for now. time may change your friendship with him to something more or less in the future. time helps us get to understand other people better. perhaps time will also help you get to know your "one hour" guy in spite of the long trip to see each other.

My advice is that you let the far away guy go. My reasons are this --
1) You're asking this question, which means you have some doubt.
2) If it's meant to be, it'll come back around.

What are you waiting for? The fact that you are putting it like that tells me you need to just move on with your life. I don't think you love this guy as much as you think. You will know it when you meet the love of life, just be patient and enjoy the ride.

If your parents really don't like him, and the distance is a problem, then let him go. Try to make it work with the new guy, (when you're ready). If he really likes you, he deserves a chance. Good luck.

What's your hurry? Just see the guy from afar when you can, and enjoy some time with the one who's near. Enjoy your life - you don't have to decide between the two. It's not like they're both on bended knee, and you have to decide which one!

Why dont ur parents like him? His going out with you NOT with ur parents! If he is good for you then dont let him go! Sounds to me like you dont REALLY love him if you have others!

well you have to realize who is more important to you..........
are you sure the previous guy you love is more caring than this guy who likes you.....
what i feel is you should realize that is the previous guy worth of the love you are trying to offer ........
choose between the person you love or feel like love.....
and the person who actually loves you and cares for u
