i've been ignoring this boy (for personal reasons) and he doesn't get it. i would expect him to apologize but obvioulsy he won't and it's fine. but he said that he knows i've changed because "life has changed me", some things that have happened to me. he thinks that's why I'm ingnoring him.
my question is, what kind of person would think this; all he'd have to do to get my attention would be change his attitude, I really don't understand why he would think life has made me like this. it has nothing to do with him

Please never assume someone can read your mind. Unless you fully communicate why you are unhappy with him he really won't know why you act differently. Don't take the "I shouldn't have to explain it to him, he should know why" course of action as honestly he probably has no idea. Not to take his side, but after 15 years of marriage I have learned that no matter how I want him to know why I am unhappy it takes telling him why which opens up the conversation. If you want him to change his attitude you have to ask, but that is no guarantee he will, but at least you told him how you feel and gave him a chance to fix things from his side.

Maybe talking to him why you're ignoring him is a good thing. Explain things to him that he wants to know. And tell him you don't want to talk to him anymore. Good luck!
