It is called Asexual Reproduction. It is where an organism can reproduce alone without the neccecity for a second individual. It is common in some insects and all single celled organisms.

This is called hermaphroditism. Once example is the clown fish.

snails are hermaphrodite. They need any way to be a couple to reproduce. That's the only animals i know being hermaphrodite.
