You mean cow milk? the type we drink? They should only be given their mothers milk.
if they show interest you can use hard kibbled food that has been VERY softened by warm water. might not be for another week though.

They can start to lap WATER now. Do not leave the bowl in there without supervision though. For their first "meals", you take a HIGH QUALITY dry puppy food and soften it by soaking it in hot water. When it is mush, you can add a little baby rice cereal and more warm water to make a "gruel". That is what they eat 4 times daily. As they eat more, they nurse less and weaning as begun. Around 6 weeks they go to three meals a day. Little by little you thicken the feedings so they are eating just slightly moistened dry.
NO MILK IS NECESSARY AT ALL!!!! Following this protocol, you do not need to worry about weaning because it will be done naturally and gradually. By the time the puppies leave at 8 weeks, they will be weaned properly....no stress to mom or babies.

Never give a dog milk!! At about 4 weeks start giving them dry puppy food moistened with a little warm water. Feed them twice a day, pick up any left over food after about 15 minutes and let the mom finish it. You also need to start offering them fresh water several times a day. By the time they're 6 weeks, the mom will likely be finished weaning them and you'll need to feed them 3 times a day and have fresh water available for them.

first of all you don't give milk. the next thing is that with them being 3 weeks old you can start to feed them solids but they will still need their mom til they are 6 weeks. when feeding them put dry and canned food together and add warm water to it. they will be able to eat it becausethey have teeth. feed them 3 times a day and make sure that you let them nurse on mom and when they are 6 weeks take them off mom and just feed them the solids. i breed golden retrievers and i always wean onto solids at 3 weeks still nursing and when they are 6 weeks they are off mom and on solids for good. when you have them outside to potty and play make sure you bring mom in til they are brought in because they will try to nurse on her and she will let them and don't let that happen. you need her to dry up after 6 weeks. good luck

No milk. Just give them cooked rice with hambyrger. That is thr best for them. Make it loose, sloppy. Milk causes diarrhea. Don't give milk...it would cause them to be sick. Good luck. Help mamma out. keep in fridge and microwave, give small amt.
