My dog is pretty small, like 1 ft to the shoulder, and she doesn't like big toys or bones, and she already have many little toys. Can anyone suggest something I can get my dog for Christmas that is not too expensive? and also, if you can, please couold you tell me a place to get good deals on dog toys and stuff?

Also, I would not like to get my dog treats that are quickly consumed, because she is already a little on the chunky side.

My dogs love jerky. There is some chicken jerky that you can buy pretty cheap at the warehouse clubs. The dogs love it. You can cut it up into the sizes that is best for your dog. It is a healthy snack and safe. If you don't belong to a warehouse club and don't want to buy in bulk, you can get it at the pet store or grocery.
How nice that you are thinking of something special for your pup.
My dogs like the stuffed toys that make real animal sounds. We have a monkey sound toy and a partridge bird sound toy.
Merry Christmas to you and you pup.

The fact you hate your dog is sad and this is a prime example of why dogs should never be brought as presents. BEFORE bringing any new dog into your house you need to train the dog you already have that any sort of biting is not acceptable as you do not want your puppy getting hurt or copying this behaviour. Ask your mum and dad to help train this dog. Give him exercise and remember to praise all the good things he does. Edit; Just because YOU ignore this dog doesn't mean your puppy will, puppy's love to play with other dogs/animals and humans so believe me there will be some interaction there. Noel; your an actual !diot you know that, you simply know nothing about bully breeds and are classing them all under the same label, A lot of Golden's have attacked people so get your facts right ANY DOG HAS THE POTENTIAL to harm a human JEZE!

One thing both of my dogs (beagles) like are these chicken tender jerky. they are made for dogs out of chicken breasts. You can get them at any Sams Club or Wal-Mart. At Sams, obviously, you will get a bigger bag and they will cost more money, but my dogs go crazy over them. Also, I have a Christmas tradition of getting my dogs new collars every year. Most pet stores have a wide variety of collars. In fact, PetSmart has an ID machine where you can make ID's that go on the collar which give the dog's name, address, and phone number in case your dog ever 'escapes.' Other ideas....a bit of 'people food,' (NO CHOCOLATE...FATAL TO DOGS), PupPeroni dog treats (you can get these practically anywhere...Wal-Mart, Target, grocery stores, etc), or Beggin' Strips (dog treats). Those are the things my small dogs like. Hope this helped.

I have a miniature daschund who doesn't like big toys or bones but she does like little rawhide sticks. I usually buy them at the grocery store and she is plenty content to chew one in the backyard. They're just her size (about 4 inches long and no more than a centimeter wide)

I bought my dog a kong. You can fill it with a little bit of peanut butter and he licks it for hours. They are about 8 dollars and soon become a dog's best friend. If we leave the house, the dog gets his kong and he is content

I bought a small Kong toy for my small dog. I fill it with all kinds of nutritious treats like cut up baby carrots and cut up apples. She loves it.
