"bonding" is an old-fashioned word for composite fillings. They are white and tooth-colored and "bondings" refers to the fact that they are bonded onto the tooth structure....as opposed to silver amalgam fillings which require undercuts and are mechanically retained rather than "stuck on" to the tooth.

cost depends where you live. In New England (pretty high fees, along w/ West coast....) you can get a one-surface bonded filling for like 120 or so...but if it's more surfaces it could be 150, 180 or even 220 per tooth.

if your dentist is talking about veneers, that's a porcelein facing made by a lab and bonded onto tooth. they can be 5-700 each.
