I don't think it's "queer" but it IS agitating if that's all you do. It really takes away the intimacy of a conversation. I'm the type of kat who'd rather talk but texting for some people is just an excuse not to talk, an informal way of communicating. I'll text someone if it's short and simple, but I will not sit there and have an entire conversation via text message, that's just lame. AND rude to the other people you're hanging with.

I would rather text because it gives you time to write what you really want to say. Plus if you don't like someone or trying to get over them and don't want to talk to them it's the best way.
