Are you talking about a lunar cycle? If so, that's a littls nuts but understandable in the sense that I too beleive in the idea that planets affect things a weird abstract way, though I dunno about anything that specific. I was thinking maybe more along the lines of you're asking about the weather and when it may be warmer for a few days, thus helping with the healing. Makes a bit more sense, but puppies that young should be inside no matter what.
It's an odd question, but the answer is that if the puppy is the right age and healthy enough to deal with the trauma, then do it. That day is a good day to dock your puppy's tail.

Wow. I cannot even THINK of something to say about that. This takes the bloody biscuit!!!!!!!!! Using the lunar cycle to plan the docking of tails. WOW.
You do know they need to be done like by the 5th day after birth right???? What if that doesn't line up with the moon???

This one must be the "League" president!!

You should have cut the tails off before they were three days old. Now you will have let the vet do it because they will have to have anesthesia. DO NOT attempt to do it yourself now! It is inhumane if they are 3 days old or older!
