would people start to think that there is nothing wrong with it? Would they even look in the Bible to cherry pick verses to try to justify wanting to kill someone who may be an inconvenience to the lifestyle they wish to live?

That's a possibility since it already happens. There is no God, but if there were he would disapprove of abortion, as does any thoughtful human.

The issue is very simple, whether you call it murder or not: The human fetus has no vote, and has no say in the debate. You people who call it a choice, you should think back to the time when you were a fetus. If there had been a question about whether you should be aborted or not, and you could have offered your opinion what would it have been?

I will wager that you would have said "No, I want to be born."
As a fetus you had no choice.

"Pro-choice" is a lie.

first of all for that person who said you are not aborting a baby. When does a woman find out she is pregnant? Usually about 6 weeks after conception. So my question how does a bunch of cells have a heart beat that starts at 3 weeks after conception? This is scientifically proven, by the way. If a woman is murdered while pregnant and the baby dies as well, at any stage of development it is called a double murder. If it choice, it isn't murder, even though that baby dies? great question, choice comes with a responsibility to do what is right, not what you feel like doing.

The Xians already cherry pick verses to try to justify all those sins they commit.

Abortion is as much murder as a menstrual cycle is murder. It's only unwanted tissue at that point. It's not a person, no matter what the anti-choice people tell you.

the word "murder"'s a charged word; like calling copyright infringement "piracy" (do you know what actual piracy is?) or calling criticism of the government "treason".

From the twenty-second week to the twenty-fourth week, connections start to be established between the cortex and the thalamus, the part of the brain that translates thoughts into nervous-system commands. Fetal consciousness seems physically "impossible" before these connections form, says Fisk, of the Imperial College School of Medicine.

It's not so black and white. Science doesn't believe a first trimester baby exibits enough characteristics to be called human, therefor, secularly it's not considered murder. I know that makes Christian's uncomfortable, but as we are not a theocracy it is not up to the government to make a differentiation based on the bible.

way to go, great point indeed! Killing those little babies before they are even born is shameful.

It is not a choice, it is muder to have an abortion! God did not make you God of your own body, and surely did not make you god of that body that is growing inside you. NO CHOICE, give birth. If you truly don't want to be pregnant, don't have sex.

But if you CHOOSE to have sex, let the baby live, 2 sins will not right a wrong. DON'T KILL BABY!!!!!!!!!

I don't think that's going to be a problem, because I know where you are going with this and murder is different from being gay, you are on the naughty list.
