dogs weren't decended from wolves. wolves re a breed just like any other. Their just wild. and besides if domestic dogs were bred DOWN from wolves then what did they breed them with?!
God created everything just like he created man. Even though people say we are decended from monkeys! God created some breeds of dog. But it was man that bred together the breeds to come out with totally diffent breeds. Like the Whippet, Poggle, and the "Shnoogle".

Ok accually they where first wolves, our cave man ansestors domesticated wolves as hunting helpers and companions. During the last few centrys we, mankind, have created the breeds we see today throug selective breeding.

a couple million years ago, they were desended from wolves. Every breed we have now has a more modern ascent to where it is now. :)
