yes i eat right, small portions through the day, get lots of exercise with dancing, running and lifting weights and i drink alot and alot of water.... so could this be the cause of my stubborn belly fat?

Not likely. As far as i know if it was just water retention, drinking more water can help to flush out your system. But you say "stubborn belly fat" which sounds like fat that has been there for a while and needs to be burned off to get rid of it.

Bloating and belly fat are NOT the same thing. Bloating can be caused by wheat intolerance, mentrual cycle and other things. Water will pass thru the body in a couple of hours and will not cause the type of bloating I suggest you are refeering to. Belly fat is stubborn, diet and exercise may shift it but there are no guarantees..;

What exactly do you eat? Do you also work on your abs when you exercise? Belly fat is tough to get rid of. Be careful not to drink too much water as that can be bad also.

No, It is reccomended that you drink a galon of water everyday. The body is made up of somthing like 70% water.
