can creating a nature habitat on your land help in some way towards global warming?

i think it would since butterflys and all types of animals are being confused were to go because of there habitat loss you would be suprised the animals that will show up when you dicide to make nesting platforms water gardens like potholes in the areas you already have water gathering part of the year and that frogs can smell the water in an area that you have just clay soil which is really good soil but the trace elements cant be released untill you add humus maybee wood ash you may not have to add lime because the compost nutrilizes itself you can recycle unwanted items like pallets wood that people throw away or washes up which you could have hit with a boat while on a ride and make it into bird houses you can volunteer at seed gathering at a local dnr site git a special collectors permit and have some of the seeds for your yard some neibors complain they say there was no animals in my yard b4 you came and my dog killed a opossom many people think we dont share the earth and that the worker bees and wasps arnt welcome they dont under stand and or are scared because of myths you will see it in cartoons and shows when i decided to make an impact on global warming was when i saw outlines of peoples cars in there driveways surrounded by water and people standing on there roof waving for help i guess i heard from a teacher that my teacher was also found somewere in the swamp barely alive and brused from debris and know one knows how they got there and not to mention i have a plain jane yard so i went to a local farm got manure i know some people who live at the beach i got some seaweed i see those chipper dudes who cut down trees and i ask them to do me a favor and let me have the full load to make raised beds cause i heard that for every 3 trees that git cut down one gits planted then i pick up 10 cent bottles git the refund and buy trees i changed out light bulbs in the house to the more expensive bulbs under 20 of them and if that saves 400 and some odd lbs of emmisions of contamination i would like to think that makes an impact i screwed out faucet tips and put in energy saving adapters and changed my shower head and put an insulating blanket for my gas water heater and i have a passive preheat solar water heater attached to the water system and in the summer the gas is off i bought some solar spot lights and some solar motion detectors and my biodegradables dont go to the landfill they go to the building of my garden spaces i pick up the beach and recycle what ever i can i go to the national forest i go to the state game area and some of the tributaries in this area and i recycle what i can bottles glass plastic i found 5- 55 gallon drums and called the govt a local crew came and picked them up i will make a difference and im not listening to any naysayers when they tell me i cant save the world cause i do what i can to try to make more of an impact shure im worried about my neibors that dont recycle and family and friends that make no effort and make our pyramids of garbage bigger but its less of an avalanche comming for our houses and shure i made an impact by not mowing my back yard and i got hell from the neibors they have called the township and i git hurrassing and threating letters and the blight people have told me they have the athority to high step thru my wildflowers and tell me to cut this and cut that and basicly stay dependant on forgien energy and have noise pollution and air pollution and make votes go for big oil i have an injury i was trying to have habitat and wildflowers and incorporate vegatables into my landscapeing for therapy i was hit by a car about 4 years ago and since my accident being hit on my bicycle since i was trying to give the gas companys a bad case of gas and i have to bunny hop everywere i go cause the roads are only made for cars as well as the intersections i cant imagine what an old person or a child or someone who is disabled like me has to go thru i seen a person in a wheelchair race thru traffic and then come to a curb that would send you flipping over on a bicycle with the hinney comeing up in the air ive seen new curbs put in with no accomidations for hadicapped people just a nice tall curb and once your messed up with a closed head injury and some broken bones in your back peirceing thru the insulating absorber parts in your spine nothing makes your day noing that those people from the township will be writing you more hurrassing letters and hurrassing phone calls and going to township meetings telling them about me dying from second hand smoke coming there when no one seems to be lisening all our parks are steril and wild flowers and habitat would make less stress at prisons schools churches parks it would cut down on violence in neiborhoods would you like to go were they spray chemicals in big barrels were the children play like at the library you go there to git better but really you got there to die so look how cookie cutter the neiborhoods go on for there is a very small limit of habitat in everyones yard in some parks they mow when its a 4 or 5 hour job when it could be habitat with a few trails and no mowing but nope smog belching is the norm and i dont see it changing conservation starts at home and if you dont think a tomatoe plant in your window a flower box under your window a roof converted to wildlife habitat or areas set aside for the improvement of air quality and habitat some people think wetlands are just a waste area and a place to be filled in and in some places they dont have sewer they have a straight pipe going into the canal and lots of unusable canals could be made for the helping of endangered animals but with so many barricades and people just not wanting to help out the mosquitos keep right on a breeding you say there is no jobs but have you seen your local park lately there is like no trees were there could be some huge biodiversity but nope keep gass guzzleing cause were thirsty for it and when your lungs and throat are dry and scratchy from the fumes tell yourself you dont know what its from and you need medison but since it the law for me to keep mowing everything you will find me mowing with earplugs and a double puck resperator cause people obviously like noise and air pollution cause if they didnt why would they be putting there natural futalizer to the curb making there soil level drop and point there fingers at there neibor when they try to make a difference in the world i thougt i had a freedom of creativity a right to be left alone and my freedom of religion but really you can only push somebody so much and not give them just compensation for the local govt to tell you what you can do on your private property and i also thought america was about your neibor having a different opinion than you no a few bad apples calling the township and having there will enforced on me for were i live 97% of the wetlands are gone here and when you try to make a difference in the world what do you git but if there is anything i would call satan and his minions showing up in my yard it would be that and if they keep that nonsense up and want me to destroy what god put me here to protect because its my right and my duty because like you i am a trusted servant you know i cant take a walk with out the ditches looking like a land fill and the same thing with swimming over people use there breakwalls for a place to throw there garbage and they dont care about overspray into your garden or your drinking water i might live next to many landfills but dangit in my spot in the sun or shade i want mosses mushrooms ferns wildflowers shrubs trees rabbits groundhogs dogs cats deer squirrels oppossums owls hawks and and what ever im not putting out dcon to help kill owls when they catch mice i put out fresh water for the animals and i share my area my little oasis i call home with the animals im not alone on this earth most people think its all about them so if you want to make an impact you have to make the first step thats the hardest and that little you do you might like it and it will have a snowball effect and you might go hogwild and make nature habitat and try to help global warming but if you defeat your self before you win how can you win you and i have to make a difference well you say it dont effect me and i will be dead anyways so i dont care you better think about it

It won't hurt things. Any amount of extra plant life you create will help in some way towards slowing global warming. However, its going to take alot more than one garden to make a noticable change.

No, I don't think so and it would be a good thing to do.
Global warming is all the emissions from years of burning fossil fuels. We need more wind power and hydro electric plants.
And nuclear power plants they can be done safely . Technology is better today than 3 mile island and Chernobyl times.
