What shy is, is being too focused on yourself. You're thinking too much about how people percieve you and it makes you afraid to speak up. Women want a guy who is focused on them not himself.
Ok, knowing that next time your with a woman, forget yourself and focus totally on her. Don't worry about making a fool of yourself because everyone manages to do that to themselves. It's part of being human. Don't focus on imperfections, focus on what you can do to make the lady happy.

lets cut the crap and be honest. no women do not like shy men. we rely on instinct and it can only be overpowered by a mans confidence so we barely give the time of day to shy guys. but im gonna let you in on a secret, every now and then, a pretty girl is gonna give you the time of day and get to know you. it may be strictly platonic but eventually she's gonna fall for that shy guy. it always happens. that when you gonna gain that confidence we find irresistible. don't forget that women can be shy too. even if she's stunning, gorgeous to the extreme, we are human and we all have faults which we are aware of. try this, instead of focusing on your own insecurities, try and imagine hers and try to boost her ego instead of trying to get her to boost yours. women never say no to compliments. you'll be so preoccupied from trying to make her feel good, the attention will divert from you to her, by then you should come out your shell. i just dont understand what people are shy of? dont sell yourself short, i bet you at least one girl was more shy of you than what you where of her. Good luck. oh getting a new cut or shirt or aftershave can go a longggg way, you'll feel like a new person.

I guess it depends on the women, some like the shy but strong on the inside type while some like the guys who go and put themselves right out there.

My bf is a very shy person esp when he doesn't know you. I was the opposite.
But what i love about him is that he is too shy to be pretendious and be all macho on me, he is just himself.
Eventually, when we are both comfortable with each other, he comes out of his shell, which is beautiful.
Just be yourself, there will be someone out there who likes you for who you are, shy or not shy.

Shy men, like myself face the horrible fact that, while women still like you, they are not patient enough to hang around for you.
When some do, then the relationship goes from sexual attraction to "Oh, he is so nice!" and they'll never consider you more that a "friend"... Thanks alot.
The best way to overcome shyness is to just ask loads of girls out, then the feeling of rejection numbs, and you can focus on girls you would really like to date.

Personally, I like shy guys. From what I have experienced, shy guys are usually sensitive and caring. They are usually very special people and can be trusted. Don't change you are perfect the way you are.

There are women out there like u. There are women who are quite bold and social. In simple words, there are all kind of women in all sizes, shapes and personality. And for some of those women, U might be their kindda guy. So, hang on there!
But dont be overshy either. Be like u would atleast be to a colleague........approachable and friendly . That should be a start!

im shy to so far i think women like guys who are not too shy but they also like the fact if their the only girl you really go after hope this helps ya

well...it all depends on what the girl is looking for and what kind of shyness you are... maybe if you are a playfull shyness kind of a guy then yeah its very cute but you gotta speak still cuz if you dont whats the point of trying to like her? but if ur willing to let her know then yeah i think women do like a shy guy.

it depends on the women that u r talking about. if the women is shy herself then she needs a guys that can protect her. but if the women it outgoing then she likes a guy that is funny and cragous like her. but the truth is that women like men that is not afraid to be who they r. if u pretend to be someone that is not who u r, then they wont trust u with anything!!
