People will judge you regardless. I do believe it matters what you do and how you act if your a Christian. If your a Christian it is your duty to follow the laws of the Bible as best you can, so we can show that God's way is the only way. We don't want to be accountable for turning people away from God, because yes, God will be the FINAL judgment for all of us.

Matt.7
[1] Judge not, that ye be not judged.
[2] For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

John.5
[22] For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

John.12
[47] And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. (this is Jesus talking)

Is this a contradiction????????

John.9
[39] And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

The bible is somewhat unclear on judgment at first glance, or even after major study of it. I think that Judgment is different than what most think.

It clearly says that the Father judgeth no man (John 5). So that can answer your question about God judging when he can’t . He can not because once the Son has judged rightly then the sins are gone and there is nothing to judge. So how does the Son judge, when it also says in John 12, “I came not to judge the world, but to save..”. That is because there are two separate meanings to the word “judge” in the bible. If you say it like, “ I will judge you for that so you are sent to hell”, this is the kind of judgment that man does amongst themselves. Satan is the accuser of men (Rev 12). But if judgment enters you and is used as a kind of deciphering tool, then the word is used as a sense of judgment within ourselves to decipher what we should be doing. Jesus comes into us to give us judgment and to save us from the accuser. Then once we realize what true judgment is, our sins are gone. Once we are born of God we have true judgment (Jesus comes for judgment (John 9), and we sin no more. We then truly throw away the tree of knowledge of good and evil and eat of the tree of life.

1John.3
[[9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

DID YOU and Others miss this ONE.....?

(1Corinthians 5:1-to-7) It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

(1Co 5:2) And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

(1Co 5:3) For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

(1Co 5:4) In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

(1Co 5:5) To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

(1Co 5:6) Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

(1Co 5:7) Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

THE CHURCH is told to JUDGE THE SIN THAT WAS IN THEIR MIDST!

Thanks, RR

well i was under the idea that since god gives us knowledge we can judge people as in right and wrong, but to what will happen to you in a judging sense is only determined by god

Only God can judge where you will spend eternity, yes.

EDIT:
In response to your added question, Jesus is the only one who died for the sins of mankind; therefor He is the only one that you will meet on judgment day. He is the forgiver of ALL who come to Him out of a repentant and contrite heart, trusting that when He died, was buried and rose from the grave, that He proved Himself God in the flesh, and able to save you, if only you ask!

Okay, but find the people who judge by looks and music because I dress gothic and listen to heavy metal. People would think different if they actually knew me.

God is unconditionally Loving Myriam so it is not likely that He will be judging you either.

unconditional means no conditions.

No conditions mean that there is nothing to Judge.
