One theory is that pollution contributes to global warming, but another states that what we call "global warming" is simply a natural weather cycle--kind of the opposite of a mini ice age.

If you really care about the environment, you have to go vegetarian. Meat production causes extensive pollution and is a huge drain on our resources. It even causes more pollution than these SUVs people always complain about. It is also easy to become meat free and much kinder to animals. Meat is no longer needed as a food source as many other kinder options exist. In fact, most meat sold today is in the form of stuff like hamburgers and hot dogs and is bad for your health. The only real reason to eat meat is for entertainment and the animals pay the price for our entertainment as they are abused and slaughtered. It is hypocritical to say you care about the environment and love animals while eating meat.
