Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence
Incidentally, there is nothing in the Bible directly forbidding male homosexuality; and NOTHING AT ALL forbidding lesbians! Whoo hoo!
The Letters to the Corinthians and to the Romans someone cites, were written by PAUL - not Jesus, not God - and, in any case, are translated very differently in the King James Bible (a much less 'manipulated' text than many later versions)

Stuff I found on line...
Today some major denominations within these religions, such as Reform Judaism and the United Church of Christ, have accepted homosexuality, arguing that it was originally intended as a means of distinguishing religious worship between Abrahamic and pagan faiths, specifically Greek (Ganymede) and Egyptian (see Torah or Old Testament) rituals that made homosexuality a religious practice and not merely human sexuality, and is thus no longer relevant. "Liberal" Christian denominations such as Unitarian Universalism and some Presbyterian and Anglican churches now welcome members regardless of sexual orientation, and perform same-sex marriages, as do Reform and Reconstructionist Judaism.
Some Christians though do not condemn homosexuality as bad or evil. Many liberal Christians are open and affirming to homosexuals and indeed there are even entire denominations devoted to being open and affirming to homosexuals such as the Metropolitan Community Church.
And I myself was raised as a Baptist (in the Tennessee Bible Belt), and proud to say that I am queer as a three dollar bill.
God Bless Us Everyone.

It depends on how strict or liberal the followers of that religion are. I have a friend whose parents are pastors, her brother is homosexual and their parents fully accept him like this, but you know that many other Christians are extremely intolerant in this regard.

you are right in Christianity it does state in the bible that it is wrong. but, it states in the bible that all you have to do is believe. and Jesus' last commandment was 'Love one another as i have Loved you.' hate is spreading so fast, we must stop it. hate is spreading so fast like a disease that's airborne. we were created with love. and with love Jesus died on the cross for the sin of man. notice, neither of the two things i mentioned were done with hate. so why should we go thru life hating each other? we shouldn't.

Guess that would depend on how you define religion.
Otherwise, I think most of those religions started to become extinct due to Christianization way back in the early ad/ce.

Only those that meet in a Gay Church with a Gay preacher.
But they only use the warm and fuzzy verses, which for them amounts to about 1/5th of the complete Bible.
[tongue in cheek] but who can argue any different??
Bible View of Sexual Perversions
Due to worldly propaganda even some among God’s people have been influenced so as to view homosexuality and similar sexual perversions as ‘not so bad.’
However, God’s Law to Israel was that homosexuals should be put to death! And in the Christian Greek Scriptures, 1 Corinthians 6:9, 10 says, according to the New International Version: “Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral . . . nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders . . . will inherit the kingdom of God.” And, according to this same Bible translation, Romans 1:26, 27 says: “Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men.” Verse 32 continues: “Those who do such things deserve death.”

try this one:
Unitarian Universalism
Many UUs appreciate and value aspects of Christian and Jewish spirituality, but the extent to which the elements of any particular faith tradition are incorporated into one's personal spiritual practices is a matter of personal choice in keeping with UU's creedless, non-dogmatic approach to spirituality and faith development.
