it is a stupid and unhealthy diet!
You need food for energy as well as everything else, can't you simply have 3 healthy square meals a day? Throw a salad sandwich and some fruit in there somewhere!

It depends on how long you do this and what you eat during those meals. It is unlikely you are eating enough friuts and veggies or fiber or other nutrients for your body to achieve and maintian great health in the long term. Also, for your metabolism to funcion well, you need to "stoke the fire" every few hours.

I work with 2 women, both quite slim, who exercise almost daily and who eat very little. They both look great, but both have digestive problems (irritable bowel, upset stomachs), are frequently coming down with something, and neither seems especially vibrant. Of course, when they do eat, it isn't health foods, it's a coffee, or candy some other junk.

.. No side effects.. SO UNHEALTHY tho.. my father runs a string of gyms and we get people like you ALL the time.. to lose weight you have to eat evry 4 hours from the hour you wake up ( have breakfast as soon as you wake) drink lots of water (you cannot drink TOO MUCH water.. water gives you excelent skin) and join a gym if your over 16 or 18 but if not then excisise and stay away from sugar and prcessed food and eat a balance of vegees carbohydrates and plenty of protene !

Dont diet.. be healthy the proper way

good luck xx

Your body needs more nutrients that just a light meal in the morning and dinner late. Another issue, if you have weight problems, a diet of this sort can cause you to gain weight. Sumo wrestlers follow this type of diet. They don't eat during the day and eat a large meal for dinner. This is what helps them maintain their weight.

That is fine. No one (unless mentally sick like anorexia) in America has problems from not eating enough. Just make sure what you eat is healthy. Much more important.

If anyone mentions weight loss, they ignored what you said since you made NO MENTION of that. Site below has the healthiest foods for intestinal health and the ones that destroy your intestines.

No, there are no real "bad" side effects for internal problems or anything like that. HOWEVER, if you are doing this to try to lose weight it will most likely not work. The reason for this is because your body needs food at regular intervals and if it doesnt get enough food for these intervals your body will feel like it is "starving itself" and it will store fat which is actually worse. The best thing to do is to eat small meals several times a day or to eat balanced meals 3 meals a day.

Sorry to say but I eat kind of like that. I eat my first meal around 3 or 4 p.m. and then later between 7-10p.m. because I do not fall asleep until 3-6a.m. and wake up around noon.

They say you should have 5-6 small meals a day.

Well, it will dramatically slow down your metabolism so if weight loss is your goal you are not doing yourself any favours. It is better to eat several small meals / snacks throughout the day of about 200-300 calories each.

Lot of great tips there.

well i think it's unhealthy, what you are doing is what people do when they are fasting, especially when you only have a light breakfast, i don't think it is an intestine problem but rather a stomach problem
