My best friend liked this guy Travis. We meet him when i was going out w/ this guy Billy. Well last week , I broke up w/ Billy. Then Travis asked me for my phone #. I thought that he wanted it so he could find out more about Kaitlyn (my best friend), so I gave it 2 him. After we talked more, I realized I liked him. But I thought he liked her. Then last Saturday, he called me and told me he liked me. I told him I liked him 2, but I didn't know what 2 do about Kaitlyn. So the next Tuesday, I decided 2 tell her. She told me she wasn't mad. So now Travis and I are going out. I think she is mad though. She keeps on telling me bad things about him and saying that since I got the guy, I get everything. Is she really mad @ me? And if she is, what should I do?

well u should talk to her 1v1 seriously sometime soon--or u can have one of ur other friends talk to her--otherwise if she if mad and she is not telling u than that is her fault right!!!!?!!!!
if she is mad at u than maybe u should spend more time with her that way u r there more thatn usual and she might not notice as much

Well it depends...since your friend may be right about travis...but if shes your bestfriend she would understand that u didnt mean to get her mad and that your friendship is more valuable than the relationship between u and ur guy u should know that as well so take time to talk to her about it ask her if she really is mad if she still doesnt seem to admit it tell her that if she doesnt tell u the truth then there isnt a point in being friends and that friends should tell eachother everything and u guys should since u say shes ur bestfriend, u shouldnt let ur friendship get ruined because of a guy.

The man picked you so that ,that but was she going out first with him because the is a no no.We don't treat our friends like that.Be careful because between billy and travis you may be the talk of the town. She is in fact mad because he picked you and not her if he is cute and she liked him you might be hurt about something like that to but we must grow up and respect people decisions. Put yourself in her shoes what would you want her to do and do it God bless miss travis

Yes, she's mad, but it's probably more jealousy than anger. I'd sit down and talk to her again. If she's still upset after that, give her some space and don't talk to her or hang out for a while. Give her time to cool off and get over it. If she's really set on making an issue of you and the guy, you might have to choose between the two of them, but it doesn't sound like it'll go that far.

i am kinda in the same situation. the guy i like likes my best friend. if they went out, i would be sad. i wouldnt really be mad, but of course i would want them to break up. i dont think kaitlyn is mad. if she is your best friend she just would be sad. and she says bad stuff to try to get you to break up with travis. i think you should talk to kaitlyn about everything and things will work their way out.

**** her, look you asked her permission first, that was her oportunity to say if she had an issue with it, she didn't. Its unfair of her to get mad at you now, sounds like she is jeleous. You gave her the chance to voice her opinion about the two of you going out she said she was ok with it so she should be happy with you instead of bitching about Travis. Just give it time, she will calm down.

you stole her bf of course she is mad and you deserve every bad thing that could happen to you. He is a low life cheater and your a horrible best friend. She is lucky she found out about him before she got more involved with him, and you and him can look forward to a life of always having to watch the other person because you both know the other will cheat eventually. I hope it hurts you as much as you hurt your friend.

yes im pretty sure she will be very upset by it, but she'll eventually get over it.
ive been there loads of times with my friends and these guys are long gone and forgotten about.
but that doesnt mean to say its ok that you started seeing a guy that you knew your friend liked??!!!!
talk to her about it, apologise and ask her what she would prefer you to do, he obviously wont go out with her now but just remember friends are more important that boyfriends.
dont let a guy ruin your friendship, its not worth it

Yes she's mad ur usually not supposed 2 go out wit a friend's crush....it causes jealousy issues.

she probably is mad about the situation but not REALLY mad at you....you are just the easiest to take it out on. Don't talk about him when u are around her and maybe she will calm down....be careful because something like this could really hurt your friendship .....is it worth it?
