It varies on the dentist. I had two gold crowns and made a payment up front then regular payments 2300 bucks. But yours could be a filling for a hundred, you need a dentist and regular checkups. This isn't something you have a choice of, as you know the pain will get you to go.

Dr Albert (I'm sorry - "DR ALBERT!!"!) is correct...however, he didn't answer your money question....

to extract is probably 100-160 dollars. To save it will almost certainly require a rootcanal (about 600-900) and (later) a crown (800-100). the fees vary by where you live.

if you go to a dental school it might cost 50 percent or so less.

Oh dear! If the tooth is falling apart in your mouth, then it's going to have to be removed. Though perhaps later you could get surgery done to graft in a new tooth, or replacement.

The last time I had teeth removed, I seem to remember it cost $80 per tooth. I can't really tell you beyond that.

Good luck!

MS. ENVIED,
THIS TOOTH WILL EITHER NEED 1) A ROOT CANAL OR 2) EXTRACTION. IF THIS TOOTH CAN BE SAVED, IT WILL NEED A CROWN TO PROTECT IT AFTER HAVING THE ROOT CANAL. TAKE SOME IBUPROFEN FOR THE PAIN AND SEE A DENTIST A.S.A.P.
GOOD LUCK.
