Many people are morally against having an abortion. I think that is fine. Don't have one. Like gay marriage. If you are against gay marriage than do not marry a gay person. Otherwise it is none of your business.
The decision to terminate a pregnancy is a personal decision and only the woman involved has the right to make that decision. It is not the right of anyone else to make that decision for me. It is my legal choice. Roe Vs Wade is secure.
No one has the right to try to put their religious beliefs into my law. That includes abortion and gay marriage. Mind your own business. Worry about your own morals. Do not worry about mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, first, a baby has human DNA, not a bacteria or a virus. You could have compared the fetus to a tumor if you wanted to argue it from a DNA standpoint, but a tumor doesn't typically form a human being. Second, it's legal anyway, so it doesn't matter, if a woman wants to kill her baby before the" line in the sand" is drawn, out of convenience, then she has the legal right to it, but it's kind of a crappy thing to do to the father. Babies have actually survived abortions....it's kind of sad. Third, it's irresponsible not to use a condom and a BC pill in the first place. A lot of kids are just ignorant of reproductive health in general, which is why they don't get protection and end up with a STD or a kid. Fourth, a fetus actually is a sentient being that can dream, hear, remember, and feel pain. You seem to have made up your mind about it, and that's okay.

You left out the following verse that tells what should happen if the baby is killed.
Exodus 21:22 "When men strive together and hit a pregnant woman, so that her children come out, but there is no harm, the one who hit her shall surely be fined, as the woman's husband shall impose on him, and he shall pay as the judges determine. (23) But if there is harm, then you shall pay life for life,
Abortion takes the life of the most innocent and helpless members of the human race. Why is it that if a woman gives birth to a child and a week later hires someone to kill the child then it is called murder but if a woman hires a doctor to kill her soon to be born child then people think that it is not murder? Just because a court overturned common sense doesn't make it right to kill an innocent person who can't defend them self.

Christians (by far the majority in this country) believe that life begins at conception & to kill the child is murder which is forbidden by the 5th Commandment. Because a majority of the Supreme Court determined that a woman had the right to chose doesn't mean that their decision was right or moral. Most Christians believe that the right to life supercedes the right of a woman to kill her child.

Christians shouldn't kill anybody. To be a Christian means to be like Christ. Christ came to reveal the kind of person that God is.
Christ died to pay the penalty for sin and provide salvation for even His enemies. People who kill or make plans to kill their enemies are not Christians.
There is no such thing as "minor sin" when we are talking about the crucifixion of the Son of God.

I completely agree with you. However, I think their argument is "Thou shalt not kill," even though the Bible clearly separates abortion from murder.
Good point about the killing of enemies. It will be interesting to see if someone can answer your question as well as you asked it.

This is a very controversial issue. Some think that because the fetus is not yet "human", it is okay to kill it. Others see it as murder.
I will stay out of this one.

THE FOLLOWING IS WHAT THE CHURCH OF THE CONCH BELIEVES: (and what i believe.)
Have you ever seen a nice looking "christian" lady with a hoard of children behind her? I never do, only the Amish and those religions of the Amish that are cousins to it.
"Christian" women, can't have alot of kids, the HOLY BOOK OF THE CONCH tells us in the book Neptune, chapter 48, verse 16 "Argh, ye know of the world above us, and the greedy ways of the ugly, they shall and they have been greedy unto those that have medical issues and tell them that aborting their young fetuses amongts them is wrong, ARGH! and I say unto you, If ye be trouble with the pain, ye shall spit ye fetuses out from ye, do not bare the child that could kill you for some greedy of the ugly that can't bare her own."
OH I PRAISE THE ALL MIGHTY CONCH!

Thou shalt not kill gives the answer to your abortion question, not to mention that a baby is a gift from God. When someone gives you a gift is it right to destroy it? We shouldn't kill anyone, it is up to God to punish, not us. As for the curse comment, it does not mean swearing.

Abortion is ending a life. I believe that in the time the old testament was written the life of non adult males was not held in all that high regard.
