why is it that a female, married or not, can hug a guy, touch him, and stuff and its ok with us, but if we try to do that we feel like it isnt right....and i mean like coworkers, some friends, etc...i hope you know what i mean(and i mean hug and touch in a friendly way, nothing sexual)

Because we are men and it is always assumed that our motives are different from women. That is, we are always trying to get our end in.
To women, they think that is all we're after. They can't conceive that we would hug someone just for the sake of a hug, to let them know you care.
And if you hug someone elses child, because they've hurt themselves and you're trying to console them. It is intantly assumed by all around that you are a child molester.
Be careful. You could find yourself in gaol, just for being a kind person.

or i could be that women are extremely jealous and posessive, every other woman out there is threat to them.

well i think that it makes girls really jealous when they see there guy hugging another girl and it really pisses them off and guys i think r the same way but it just doesnt feel right because you think that your girlfriend is going to get jealous.
