The number of photo shots is determined by the capacity of the memory card.

Different memory cards are sold. A new camera will come with a card of about a dozen pictures. Cards can be bought that hold hundreds.
I have a medium priced card. It holds close to two hundred pictures at the lowest resolution and about eighty at the highest resolution. When taking snapshots you can use the lower resolution. The higher is for very large enlargements. Read the instruction book to change resolution.

It doesn't matter how much pixels there is... it depends on how big your memory card is, which you have to buy separately. The mega pixel is the quality of the pictures you take...

Mega-pixels have to do with quality, not space.

It depends on the memory card you have how much space it will hold. And you can always buy memory cards with more space so that you can hold more pictures.

You'll need a memory card. A 6MP file is usually 2-3MB, so, approximately 700 on a 2GB card, 350 on a 1GB card.
