I have my appointment on Jan. 3rd, ill be 15.3 days pregnant. Can they see the sex of the baby this soon? Im just curious and i want to know asap as i already have four boys lol. When is the soonest you guys found out if it was a boy or girl? Ive googled this and some say as early as 13 weeks. Im not sure. Thanks everyone!!!!

I believe that they can tell the sex with pretty good accuracy after 13 weeks. That's what my sonographer told me.

I think 16-20 weeks, or 4-5 months to tell the sex of the baby.

The standard answer is 20 weeks. The parts are there, they are usually just too small to see still. There is a thing you can do for about $200 to find out the sex if you have the extra money laying around. Otherwise, don't get your hopes up too much.

i found out i was having a girl at my 20 week scan, well they said they thought she was a girl but couldn't be 100% sure. most hospitals in the uk will tell you at 20 weeks. i think it can be done from around 18 wweks. some hospitals have a no tell policy too. you can have one of the private 3D scans done for around £100 and they guarantee you that they will be able to tell you the sex. good luck.

I found out at about 18 weeks ... but I was just lucky because she happened to positioned just right so they could see she was a girl! I doubt they will be able to tell you this early ... you might have to give it a few weeks.

No, at your 1st scan apx 12weeks it is impossible to say. I'm now 29weeks pregnant with my 2nd daughter, Its at approx 20weeks scan when they can see the sex of your baby, this is the Anatomy scan.
