I have took a risk this year and bought my mum a tree to plant in the garden. I think she'll like it. Maybe if your mum likes to potter in the garden this is a good idea for you. Failing that- i usually buy a bath robe&slippers. But that lacks imagination. Mums are hard to buy for - i'm sure you'll think of something. good luck x

Not sure if you are in the UK. You can get her some tickets to a West End Show and take her to dinner as well. You should know what type of clothes and jewelry she likes you can try that as well. Hope all goes well I know how it can be with mums.

My mum, I would try to figure out what she really liked. Examples: Buying figurines for herself, her favorite perfume, things like that. Maybe a certain style of clothes. It is hard to suggest because every mum is different.

Get her one of her favorite desserts especially made for her by the local bakery, or some coffee if she likes coffee, if she has a favorite author get her one of their newest books, or a gift card, do your mom likes cheesecake, order her one or go buy her her favorite cheesecake, a gift card to the spa, the nail salon, the hair salon, something useful that wont go to waste.

You can never go wrong with chocolates.
Or you could personalise a calendar with pictures of yourself and your family growing up.
Good luck.
