I was listening to the radio the other morning and the radio people asked people to call in.. the question for them to call in was:

Who would be willing to let us (the radio people) watch their kid for a playstation 3? And who has the youngest baby who is willing? Also, how long would you let us watch him/her?

I listened in awe as there were caller after caller saying yes they would let these people whom they've never met and know nothing about watch their children!! This one lady called in and said she had a 3 month old and would let them keep him for 2 days - all for a ps3.. Another lady had a 9 month old and said a whole week! Of Course the radio station went on to say that this was a social experiment, which I dont believe.
What the heII is wrong with these mothers? Am I the only one who thinks that they are wrong for this??

people are crazy. they will do anything for something free. no i completely agree with you. i have a 2 year who stays with my mom while im at work because its hard to trust anyone with your child these days. especially the stuff you hear they do to little ones at day cares. but the people who called in and was willing to leave their child with these people over a ps3 dont need kids in the first place.

Oh my gosh that is so mean! Their kids must feel horrible! I would ): . I am a ten year old boy and if my mom or dad offered something like those selfish people I would cry my eyes ou! I want a Nintendo Wii and if I were a parent I would so rather have my kids safe and not have it then put them in extreme danger and have it! Even if my kids wanted it I would say, do not worry, I would not do that to you, I would buy it myself!

I too think that's wrong... Soon, very soon I will be a father for my first time (jan.5 maybe)... It's hard to understand what the mother thought.... but usually people can do even more crazy things to receive some money....

People have lost all sense when it comes to things. When you're willing to give up your baby for 2 nights or a whole week to a complete stranger to get something in return you don't deserve to be a parent.

Yes people are idiots. However I am sure it was a social experiment. What radio personality would advertise in such a huge public way, if all they intended to do was molest or otherwise harm a child?

I refuse to believe parents would even consider that offer, I do think that
somewhere there (radio station) is conducting some survey of how many
crazy people are out there.

No, your not the only one. I was in awe reading your story. With all the child molesters and all the children being sold to sex slave industries, how could those mothers not be sick to their stomach after hearing a question like that!!!!!
