Yes it is.
However, it is not as productive as exercise as you tend to get a more general workout when exercising than you do through physical working. Also, you are more likely to create a strain when doing a job that is physical rather than excercising.
The definitive factors as to how much excercise, how well of a workout, and how much strain, all depend on the specifics of the job.
Other than that, yeah...physical working is excerise. Heck, anything physical that makes you sweat is excercise. If vaccuming the floor causes a sweat, it's excercise.

Every type of movement counts as exercise. Even dusting burns calories! However, the more work you put in, the more you burn. If your work involves a lot of walking or lifting such as a mail carrier or warehouse worker then you probably get a decent workout. People often underestimate how much they really work though, so a regular workout is probably still a good idea.

I think of them as the same. But your body will adapt to your physical work. You can change up the exercise making it harder and that would make them different..

It depends on what kind of physical work. If it's hard yard work, like mowing the lawn or raking leaves, it probably does fall into the category of exercising. If it's doing laundry, I don't know about that.

I think it is, I see a difference in my body from it. Combining a little of both will get you even better results though.
