every one purpose in life is different, but the basic purpose for God creating life was to have someone he could communicate with that had a free will to disagree with Him, an example of this is when Moses contented with god and God agreed with him.

The purpose of your life is far greater than you own personal fulfilment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness.
If you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must being with God. As you were born by his purpose and for his purpose. now you could ask yourself
How then, do you discover the purpose i was created for?
You have 2 options. Your first option is speculation. This is what
most people choose. They conjecture, they guess, they theorize. and when people say, always thought life is .... they mean, " this is the best guess i can come up with,
But it is with Jesus that you find out who you are and what you are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got your hopes up, he had his eye on you, had designs on you for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out everything and everyone.
But of cause it is your choice and if you really what to find out your purpose you must start with your saviour
May God bless you and Merry Christmas

This will probably more opinion than fact. It all depends upon what one believes.
If you believe in God and Jesus Christ His Son, then you know that the purpose of life is to cooperate with them throughout your lifetime to develop a Christlike character and to lead and influence others to do the same in preparation for heaven.
Acceptance of Jesus Christ into the life begins the development of character.
A Christlike character is the only kind of character that could enjoy heaven and the only kind of character that could be safely trusted in heaven.
If you don't believe in God, the purposes are as multitude as the opinions.

You asked that already. The purpose of life is not to ask a dumb question more than once.

The purpose of life is to do our best to make others happy and in turn it will bring us joy and happiness...I believe the world we are living in is a state of hell.

To eat, reproduce, and die. That is all that is inherent in life. However since we are social creatures we can find a million other reasons to want to live. Look around you, choose your path.

to find your own meaning. That is what do you want that gives you purpose and meaning. There are really no absolutes. There is only one absolute: lack of sobriety destroys our search for meaning.
