Yes 30mins exercise a day can help you lose weight. Just stick too it! This is the best way to start, slowly making more time and fitting exercise into your life. Its a gradually thing and you will be more likely to stick to it. Try making small changes in your diet too dont starve your self or anything but make small changes.
Instead of frying food why not grill, steam etc that can cutt alot of fat etc. Drink more water also.
Good luck!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

For most people a healthy rate of weight loss is 1-2 pounds a week. If you lose more than that, you are probably consuming muscle and other important stuff. There are exceptions, however. Eating properly is FAR more important than an exercise routine in losing weight. You'd probably have to do nothing but workout to burn as many calories as your metabolism does by itself. When your body looks for fat to breakdown, there is pretty much nothing you can do to get it to go for fat in one area over another. It's all biochemical. On the other hand, exercise is GREAT for TONING areas of your body. Sometimes a flabby appearance is not due to fat, but out-of-shape muscles. A work-out CAN concentrate on specific areas and build up muscle there, making that part of your body look harder and more chiseled. That about it as far as you can do. Of course, if you have extra skin lying around after fat loss, you may need some surgery to clean that up. Or years to adjust. That's just the way it works.

It will aid a better, stronger heart. It will increase metabolism. It will burn calories. Really, there's nothing negative about it (except maybe some sore muscles here and there).

20-30 minutes minimum is good (you're right about working up to it). The ultimate measure of the exercise is your breathing, don't be gasping for air, but don't just be breathing ho-hum. Try to keep your heart rate in the zone fit for your weight/age to maximize efficiency.

Eventually, I would honestly work up to 1 hour. The first 20-30 minutes you burn more water weight than fat/calories. After that point you'll start burning more and more fat/calories instead of just water weight.

in order to lose weight, exercise alone will not cut it. if you really want to loose weight, track what you are putting into your body. then try putting the right things in your body as far as food.

losing weight is like the pursuit of happiness. Once you get to that ideal goal, you'll be happy for a sec. In order to keep that weight, you must maintain whatever you are doing.

so try to find a weight loss plan that is livable...and you will see results.

Yes it should definatly help but only with a good diet as well. Diet and excercise go Together and weight loss will only be effective if you do both. Good luck

Instead of sitting and reading through, listen to books on tape since you walk, clean, or garden.
