I have been in contact lenses for over a month, now. The doctor just changed my prescription a little over a week ago. This morning I woke up and was startled to find that my vision was much more blurred without the contacts than before I began to wear them. I am somewhat alarmed by this. I have had to wear my glasses all day which I did not have to do before the contacts. Do you think that my eyes just have to readjust? I'm having second thoughts about these.

if you leave it on too long then it'll cause this condition but it will go away after a few days. it is best if you switch between using contacts and glasses tho

Well...it depends very much on how clean you keep your contact lenses. Not washing them with a proper solution (NOT WATER!) when you take them out and before you put them in will eventually damage your eyes.

I have been wearing contact lenses since I was 14 or 15 years old.. In that time (2 years), my prescription has went from -2.00 to -3.25, not too cool. However, that was because I wore my contact lenses for more than the suggested 8-10 hours a day and fell asleep in them often as well as did not take care of them properly....

I think you should take a break from contact lenses for at least a week, contact your doctor and ask him/her about this and what they would advise you to do.

I have enjoyed wearing contact lens for several years with no adverse affects to my eyes, one thing to remember is that you have to be exceptionally clean, about this, you have to wash your hands before you put the contacts in, and make sure your contact night holders are boiled at least once a month.

There are so many disposable brands now though but you may have a reaction to the kind of solution you use, I couldn't use Wink, I was ok with Bausch and Lomb.

See your doctor is you feel you need reassurance but I doubt the wear of your contacts is the cause. Good luck

The factor that i do know is after we are utilizing touch lenses the minimal time to put on it's approximately eight hours or highest 12 hours. Because if we put on it a entire day and till the next day to come, it is no well for our eyes. The eyes have to relaxation from undertaking and get a few oxygen. Also, we need to be certain that our arms ate blank after we're approximately to put on them or take them off..
