How forgiving are you of people and their mistakes in life? Murderers, rapist, child pornography, cursing, ect. ect.

0 if you dont believe in forgiveness and you have no forgiveness for absolutely nobody. 10 if you believe everybody, no matter their sin or crime deserves forgiveness.

Me, I would put myself at the 10 and beyond side of the scale.

If heart is pure honest, and regretful:

Hitler,deserves forgiveness
Stalin deserves forgiveness
Osama Bin Laden deserves forgiveness
Al Queda deserves forgeness
Clinton, for sleeping with Mrs. Lowinski, deserves forgiveness
Murderes deserve forgiveness
Rapist,yes they deserve forgiveness
Child molesters, yes the deserve forgiveness
George Bush for going to war when there's no oil, deserves forgiveness
Any,and everybody deserves forgiveness.

I'm not saying what theese people did is ok,but that just a human beings they deserve to integrate back into society.

Matthew 6:14

Ran out of characters, couldnt use the scripture.

Wow, then you're more forgiving than God himself. According to the bible, God never forgives blasphemers, yet you do. God never forgives Satan, yet you do. God never forgives any that do not ask forgiveness, yet you do.

Looks like your list of those who earn forgiveness (is that even a word?) needs to include God. Kind of a dilema, eh?

Put me down for a 3, because before forgiving, I require of the perp: acknowledgement of the crime, true regret for the crime, victim restitution, and verifiable acts of contrition to the society they harmed.

well I'll rate my forgiveness on each subject

Hitler-0, he tried to bring the end of the world early

Stalin-5, he might have been trying to do the best for his country, but allowed millions of murders in his country

Osama Bin Laden-8, People don't even know the truth about him

Al Queda-0, Exodus 22:20 "Whoever sacrifices to any god other than the LORD must be destroyed" talking to the Israelites but i feel that applies to everyone

Clinton-9, how many Americans commit adultery, 1/2 of marriages end up in divorce

Murderers-7, people who actually "Murder" and not "Kill" are destined to eternal death unless the truly come to Jesus and repent

Rapist-7, same as murder, sentence is death

Child molesters-3, same concept as rape but the victim is more effected psychologically

George Bush-7, he's just fulfilling the prophecy

10 to people suffering with drugs and alcohol, who don't obey their parents, who don't go to church, who don't respect their neighbor, or people, masturbation, fornication,

5-8 to gays, liberals, abortions, drug dealers, sexually exploiting media

What a tremendous and powerful question, certainly brings one to the depths of self truth.

Each of us enter this world with the same purity, goodness, hope, untarnished innocence without prejudice or skewed sense of respect/appreciation of others and then there is the world......we are all victims and students of the environment we land in and in that, we become either the humanitarian or monster of these elements.

I think I'm probably thinking like an 8 in your theory, because there are some things I just can't get past, that is why we have a God in Heaven and He makes the final decision of forgiveness.

I have to say 5 or 6. it's hard for me to forgive someone who neither asks for forgiveness, or shows any attempt at repentance. If they are not ready to turn from their evil ways, it's hard to say I forgive you. And yes I'm well aware of the bibles teachings on forgiveness. This is just an honest answer.

I think sometimes we have to realize that its not OUR job to forgize, but Gods. By people acting like WE have to forgive Clinton & Bush (example) then we place ourselves in the role of the divine when we have no business doing so. These are human males who cannot possibly HELP but make mistakes, when people voted for them they didn't expect perfection, just decent, hard-working men. So far, I think both have lived up to that expectation. By saying we have to "forgive them" we are putting ourselves above others and that is a dangerous thing to do, especially if you DO believe in God. Simply because that's his job, not a human's.

Dear friends, every day I hear some of you say "I'm broke, I can't afford giving charity." And yet each day I also see how intolerant you are toward each other. You forgive nothing; you set yourselves up as severe judges, not considering if you would like to be treated the same way. But isn't tolerance a form of charity?

With things as deep as what you mentioned Id go with a 2. But for me cursing is in no comparison to rape and child porn. Those things get a zero! Murders same thing unless were talking a serious self defense issue or when someone kills to avenge for their children. Hitler, osama,al queda, rapists, child molesters/abusers/abductiors,no forgiveness. Bush, yes and clinton yes. Its not my concern whos mouth he puts his pecker in if she's grown and able to make her own choices. Thats between clinton and his wife.
