My mother used to coat them in flour, put a little grease in the pan, and mix in onions, little salt, little pepper ... fry that up and it was actually pretty good.
(I'd dip mine in ketchup too)

You fry it with the spray "Pam" on med. heat. But, you first rinse the liver with water to rinse off the blood. You salt and pepper it.(I use garlic salt.) Cut a med. onion in slices and separate the rings and put it around the liver in the frying pan. Cook for about 3-4 Min's on each side, spray more Pam when turning over the liver. remove both liver and onions. eat and enjoy. Good to know someone else likes liver.

if its chicken liver i make pate, chop and fry two onions in butter & oil add 8 pieces of streaky bacon cut into small pieces ,chop 3 garlic cloves & add.mean while finely chop livers that have been soaked in milk for a couple of hours (500grams approx)add when the bacon is cooked through but before it browns, when the liver is just cooked(test by cutting pieces through untill no more pink in the middle) add 1 cupped 2hands full of chopped parsley, use the curly kind if you can not the flat it has more taste, use the stalks as well and one glug of brandy, cook out for 2 mins then blitz in a blender( it looks vile at this stage dont worry) place in a bowl and cool, when cool place in fridge over night then spread some on buttered toast .any other liver i coat in flour and fry untill well done on outside but just pink in the middle, serve with creamed spuds veg and onion gravy with english mustard on the side

Wrap it in bacon and grill it until cooked - it will literally melt in your mouth.
Or you can fry an onion and then add some garlic, then add the liver. Fry till cooked then add some chopped tomatoes, some herbs and serve with pasta.

It depends on what kind. If it is chicken livers then you flour and fry them but if it is beef liver you cook them with onions. Email me and let me know which kind.

I think my mom used to grill them. Not too much 'coz if it's too well done, it's going to be dry and tough. You can also cook them with onions. Pan fry them with sauteed/caramelized onions.

My Mom used to cut it in thin strips, dredge them in flour and then fry them in lard with onions.
