The remote control to my Samsung Tv/Vcr combo from 1998 has broken and I'm looking for a replacement...>> I've already bought 2 or 3 universal remotes but I have not been able to access the VIDEO screen with them. Since it is not possible to access the VIDEO screen without a remote from the unit itself>> I need a remote with a video button. I would very much appreciate any suggestion on where/ how to find a remote with a video button.

I do not own a combo unit myself, but this is the 5-in-1 universal remote i bought for my television at RadioShack which was relatively inexpensive.

It does have a TV/VCR button. Also, the pamphlet that comes with the new controller may not list the code necessary to input into your new controller. You can try this website. http://www.xdiv.com/remotes Good luck.

If you have Cable Tv, get a digital box and it comes with a universal remote with that feature.

go to wal-mart,they have many to choose from,look at the back of the package to see if your t.v. is on there,the one you have should have about 4 to 5 different codes to enter,try all of them...
