Close your door and make sure that all music and such is off. Be creative... out of recipe cards, write down information and quiz yourself. Have someone quiz you also, and that might make it easier to concentrate. Encourage yourself, and be proud when you feel you are making progress. If focusing in general is a serious everyday problem for you though, you may have ADD. I have ADD, and since I have been on meds (Focalin XR) my grades have gone from C's to A's. Good luck with studying!

stay away from caffine and study in chunks. I often space out when I am trying to really focus on working on something and I find if I break it into little chunks staying focused seems easier. Also, remove yourself from the distractions around you like tv, music, talking, etc. Good luck on the test.

you have to ask yourself how important do these things seem to me? If I dont study will I pass? Are you trying to advance in school or a career? If you are easily distracted try to remove yourself from temptations or other distractions like a radio or t.v.or maybe it's the COMPUTER THAT'S THE CULPRIT!!!!any way I think you'll be fine once you get seriuos and take control of your thought's.Good luck Be kind.

Every time your mind drifts, refocus your attention. There isn't a magic trick, it's just a matter of training yourself to do it.
