i like this guy he likes me..i just got out of a serious relationship and i dont think im ready to date again. i want to date this new guy but not yet, and he told me he doesnt know how long he can wait. we talk much less now and im afraid his feelings have/will change for me. what should i do?

if he can't wait then don't worry about him. Trust me, there IS someone out here in the vast, vast world for you... don't fool yourself over one guy who doesn't want to wait on you when you know that YOU'RE worth waiting for...

Follow your heart.. If you don't feel like dating.. don't. Talk to this guy some more.. you may change your mind. Or you can 'date' him, but tell him you're not ready to go serious. I think the best thing to do is to talk to him, and then to follow your heart. I've been in this situation, kinda still am... so I know how you feel. Do what's best and don't let anyone pressure into doing something you don't feel cormfortable doing.

Not being ready to date again, yet pushing yourself to do it because you fear losing a guy's interest isn't being fair to yourself or to him. Wait until you're ready- if he's too impatient to wait, fine. You'll meet someone better when you're feeling healthy and strong.

If you're not ready to date, then don't. Rushing into a new relationship will not help your situation. If he doesn't want to wait for you, then forget him and move on.

I would definitely say that you should take your time. You can't rush relationships, they need to grow on their own. If you really like him then maybe the two of you should discuss what's preventing you from a relationship with him. If he still can't wait then you might not have the right person for you. :o)
