Atheists do not believe in God. Can they be referred to as godless. If they do not believe in soul either, can they be soulless? Anyway, do the atheists believe in spirit whether they are good or bad?

I've taken to referring to myself as 'godless'.
As for 'soul' or 'spirit' -- I just don't get what these terms mean.
When I ask people, they often start out by making some sense, but then they always go into talking in terms of "magic" or woo-woo stuff I just don't buy.
If 'soul' means things like consciousness and concern for and identification with others, I got them things.
But I ain't immortal, and have no "spiritual connection with all" or anything like that.
'Believe in spirit' dunno what you mean by that, but it doesn't sound like something I'd buy. Hard to say, without any explanation. It's just that people who talk in those terms tend to say a lot of stuff I don't buy in to.
We're human beings -- no less so than believers are.

Well, we're all "godless" and "soulless", it's just that atheists are aware of that fact.

Everyone is both "godless" and "souless," some simply believe that they have both of these imaginary constructs.
Kind of like a man believing he has a second penis. He can "believe" all he wants, but that doesn't double his condom requirements...

Some atheists do not believe in a soul. I am a deist. I believe that if it breathes, it has a soul.

"Soulless" sounds bad, like you're mean and cruel. I don't believe in souls, meaning I don't believe in anything after death. I think when you die, you're dead.
