because most teens are not capable of understanding the responsability that comes with sex..also, they are in danger of getting pregnant because condoms don't always work(and to get pregnant when you're a teen is not so good..I mean, you miss the chance to study easily, to have fun...)... besides, some teens don't even use condoms...Also, if a teen gets pregnant and doesn't want to have the baby and has an abortion, it could be traumatic!... Also, they can get diseases!!

You probably don't want to hear the answer but then if you didn't want to hear it you shouldn't have asked the question.
"Most teens" are not mature enough to make sound choices when it comes to just about any adult activity not just sex. But on the same token there are a lot of adults who are just as immature. Abstinence is the only guaranteed protection from STD's and pregnancies. A condom is good protection but they can break. Birth control pills only work if you remember to take them and they don't protect you from STD's. They can also have unwanted side effects. It may be a matter of personal choice to have sex or not to have sex, but a choice made in anger is a poor choice as is any choice made with only an emotional consideration. Plus the fact that teens are still developing in a lot of ways and there is a hormone imbalance that puts them in an emotional state of confusion.
Life is exciting enough all by itself there is no need to live it so fast and furiously, there will be plenty of opportunities for everything including sex. While it may be a good thing to do some things on a whim it is never a good idea to be whimsical all the time. Life is too short slow down and enjoy it a little you will find that somethings are better if you wait.

Disease especially aids, and many have results that are for the rest of your life.
Lack of knowledge of what it's like to raise a child if you are involved and a child is produced.
Lack of finishing school, college - if you become pregnant.
Lack of responsibility involved in sex. - Will he be there in the moring? Will he still look good in the morning, when you don't?
What happens when you are not happy with the sexual relationship? Will the other person get mad if suddenly you find another attractive?
Do I really want to be that close to someone at this young of an age? Would this make me proud of myself, or will I need to hide this from my parents?
Questions, questions, a million questions, but no real answers. We are all human, and we must make the decision for our own benefit and welfare. Just because it's good for my peers, does not make it good for me.
GOD bless us one and all, always, not just during the holidays.

Demonstrate respect for yourself, obedience to God's word, avoid the risk of contracting a sexually transmitted disease, avoid humiliation which often accompanies the act of sexual intercourse due to changes in the behavior of the person you chose to engage with, avoid the possibility of getting pregnant, and retain your parents trust... just to name a few. With pregnancy comes financial responsibility, and often the absence of a father figure which could lead to many problems for the child in the future. I am one of the few people on Earth who can reap such benefits as described above due to being abstinent for almost 21 years. I have learned from observing many of my relatives and peers the detriments of engaging in sexual acts.
Make a list for yourself of all the negative and positive aspects of having sex and you will see that the negatives greatly outweigh the positives (if any, that would depend on the person you are talking to).

I think there are no general rules, and as a 47-year old mum I would not generally advise my teenage kids to be abstinent. I advise my kids about STDs, about contaception and about self respect. Sexuality should not be forbidden.

Because there are so many diseases out there, it's better to wait until you are grown and can make sound decisions.
