I understand why you might think Chocolate milk is healthier, because you think it has more calcium right? The only milk that might be healthy for thats chocolate is dark chocolate milk. Which hasn't even been made.

No. Commercial chocolate milk is made after the milk processing equipment has a build-up of scorched milk. The chocolate and sugar hide the burnt milk taste. If you drink chocolate milk, make it yourself from milk and chocolate mix.

Milk isn't healthy for you to begin with....well, at least cow's milk. "Milk builds strong bones" is just a advertisement phrase created by the milk industries. No good health source would endorse that phrase. It does have calcium, but the more animal protein you get (like from cow's milk) increases the amount of calcium your body needs. So, while giving to your body, cow's milk also takes from it. This produces very little result, if any, and could even add to osteoporosis.

probably not... unless the white milk is whole milk or something. and the chocolate is skim milk. it might not be healthier... but it tastes a lot better.

If it was made with dark cocoa properly processed so as to not have all the healthy stuff removed, and without the added sugar, it probably would be. It's not, though.

Poppy's right about milk in general.

There's no milk in chocolate milk, it's just water and some subtitute. If there was milk in it, they would rot and expire very quickly.

No, because they usually add lots of sugar to it. Read the side of the package and compare it in the grocery store.

But sometimes, it's good to treat ourselves to it or hot chocolate!

GOD bless.
