Well, that's the problem isn't it. The question is more "has America done more harm than good?" for it is not what you do 10% of the time, but what you do 90% of the time (or in this case maybe 40-60%). Every nation was created through war. America has only been around for 200 years. England and many european and middle eastern nations has been conquering by force for more than 1000 years and many have yet to be conquered by force themselves.
I think in my belief system Karma and consequenses are a more personal thing and the actions of a country are in a more grey area - some people see those actions as important and necessary while others see them as dangerous and corrupt. America has done a lot of good things and a lot of things that could be considered bad (and some people thing the good things that we have done are bad, even) - it is too subjective a question to say overall what America's Karma is. We will all just have to wait for the game to be over to get the final score.
Peace!

I don't believe in Karma, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work like that (if it were true): one, it probably doesn't apply to countries, and two, it doesn't necessarily mean that what you do will happen to you exactly the same way.
But it is conceivable that the entire rest of the world will get sick enough of the US being the biggest terrorists in the world and will gang up on us.
That's not the reason I oppose our bullying of the rest of the world, but it is a reason I've been known to give those to whom arguments of humanity and compassion have no weight.
I don't think the American people deserve it, but I do think we really need to get a hint of a clue and take our country back.

I don't believe "America" can be considered responsible for the machinations of a group of neocon madmen who dragged us into war. There is a risk of the collapse of America, though, because of the neocons, who have a very clear agenda and a strong following among the fundamentalist Christian community. What Bush and his buddies have done to America is going to take generations to heal.

That would be punishing all the good people here in America and that wouldn't be fair at all. There ARE Americans who hate war and racism you know? You cannot generalize us into one group of people. America is diverse. We are all separate-I just don't think Carma works THAT way either.

All that needs to happen is a shift in internal paradigm. If that happens and is acted upon, the outcome changes.
