Wellbutrin takes away cravings of all kinds. Make sure you take a half dose for a week and wait until you are on the full dose before you quit. You will lose your craving for cigarettes, eat better and feel good!

I'm not sure how it would help with quitting smoking, but I do know that it works very well as an anti-depressant.

Exact mechanism of action is unkwon, but it inhibits neuronal uptake of Norepinephrine & Dopamine which helps relieve the "edge" of needing to smoke.
